Code of ethics.
This code of ethics reflects my commitment to practicing as an art consultant and coach with integrity, transparency, and respect. It establishes a framework of trust for my relationships with the artists, collectors, and art market professionals with whom I collaborate.
Professionalism
I commit to conducting my business with seriousness, rigor, and impartiality, respecting the diverse artistic sensibilities and objectives of each client. All my services aim to best serve the interests of the artist or collector, in compliance with the ethical standards of the cultural sector.
Confidentiality
All information shared during the course of our work together—whether regarding artistic projects, collection strategies, or personal data—is strictly confidential. Such information will not be disclosed to any third party without the client’s explicit consent.
Conflict of Interest
I decline any assignment that could give rise to a conflict of interest or compromise my independent judgment. Should such a situation arise, I commit to informing the client immediately and obtaining their written consent before continuing the collaboration.
Competence
I commit to providing guidance based on my knowledge, experience, and continuous monitoring of the art market. If a request falls outside my areas of expertise, I reserve the right to refer the client to a more specialized professional to ensure the quality of service.
Diligence and Integrity
I strive to act with honesty, objectivity, and independence of mind. My role also involves providing sound advice: I commit to alerting the client if their expectations appear unrealistic or if a different approach would better ensure the success of their project.
Fee Transparency
Before any assignment begins, the terms of collaboration are established through a clear, written agreement covering objectives, the scope of the mandate, the timeline, fees, and practical arrangements. The fees charged are fair and proportionate to the nature of the service, the time invested, and the level of expertise involved.
