ALCA fundamentals.
Strategic guidance for artists wishing to professionalize their careers
After more than fifteen years at the heart of the art market—working as a gallerist, an artist agent, and, for the past nine years, a coach—I created *Les Fondamentaux ALCA* to address a simple issue:
Artists learn how to create, but rarely how to build a career.
This training program is the result of three years of work aimed at bringing together—in a single course—the essential tools, strategies, and knowledge needed to help artists become more autonomous, visible, and organized in their professional practice.
Designed for painters, photographers, and sculptors alike, the program constantly evolves to remain relevant to the realities of today’s art market.
Comprehensive 6-month support
ALCA Fundamentals is much more than just an online course.
Over the course of six months, you benefit from:
a comprehensive learning platform,
3 group sessions per month, *
10 individual sessions, **
close guidance to help you make tangible progress in your career. ***
The goal: to help you develop a professional, viable, and sustainable artistic practice without relying entirely on an agent or gallery.
Financing your support
…available funding sources (AFDAS, OPCO, France Travail, or other organizations).
A simulator is available to provide an initial estimate of the financial aid for which you might be eligible.
This estimate is for informational purposes only and does not replace a personalized review of your application, as certain situations may require a more in-depth analysis.

*Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 artists. We meet for group sessions focused on key themes, practical challenges encountered by artists, and analyses of real-world situations, fostering dialogue enriched by the collective intelligence of the group. These sessions take place at 1:00 PM (Paris time) to accommodate artists with other professional commitments and those in different time zones. They provide a stimulating, structured environment, ensuring you do not have to navigate the six-month program alone.
** In addition to the group work, you receive ten individual video-conference sessions. These meetings allow us to review your progress, tailor strategies to your specific situation, address personal challenges, and gain a professional outside perspective on your work and goals. Any sessions unused during the six-month program remain valid afterward, allowing you to use them according to your own needs and pace.
*** Beyond the educational content, *Les Fondamentaux ALCA* is built on constant presence and close guidance. The goal is not merely to impart information, but to help you make decisions, overcome obstacles, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. You no longer have to face the art market alone: I review the documents you wish to submit, answer your questions, and remain available via a dedicated communication channel throughout the program.
