Driven by a passion for art and the people who shape it, I have built my career at the intersection of art history, the art market, and contemporary creation.
After studying Visual Arts, Art History, and the Art Market—and gaining experience with cultural organizations in Bordeaux (Galerie Ilka Bree, 2011), Paris (Galerie Cortex Athletico, 2012–2013), and Toulouse (Director of Galerie Alain Daudet, 2013–2017)—I decided to launch my own independent consultancy in 2017.
My goal is twofold:
– To support artists in the strategic development and structuring of their careers.
– To advise collectors on enriching, harmonizing, and enhancing the value of their collections.
This commitment stems from a key insight: the importance of the dialogue between creators and collectors—two complementary worlds that fuel the vitality of the art market. My final research thesis, titled “Collecting or Investing: Must We Choose Today?”, reflects my long-standing interest in the dynamics that shape contemporary collecting.
In my daily work, I explore these connections by visiting artists’ studios, discovering new talent, organizing private viewings, and guiding acquisitions. I view this role as a deeply personal engagement, where listening to and understanding each client’s specific needs is paramount.
Alongside this, I have developed specialized support services for artists, including:
– individual coaching to help clarify strategies, boost visibility, and reach new career milestones,
– creating and compiling professional presentation portfolios tailored to specific applications and opportunities,
– gallery outreach services to open doors and foster new collaborations.
I also share my expertise through:
– Talks on the art market for various audiences,
– Educational sessions at private schools or training organizations backed by the Occitanie Region,
– Online training courses for artists and collectors.
My goal is to build lasting connections between artists, collectors, and professionals, and to provide the insights and practical tools needed to navigate today’s art market.
My name is Alice, and I am 38 years old.
I proudly bear my great-grandmother’s name, and ever since I was little, I’ve loved receiving countless different editions of Lewis Carroll’s most famous work.
I have a daughter whom I love dearly, far beyond just the bond of motherhood. I also love chai lattes and anything with cinnamon in it. I have a habit of suddenly speaking very fast when I’m overwhelmed by emotion. As a child, I wanted to sell paintings, then become a fashion designer, a comic book artist, a psychologist, and an art teacher, before finally returning to my original dream!
I dislike negativity, and I need constant goals and projects to keep me motivated. I need to see things written down to process them; that,along with the satisfaction of crossing items off a list,is why I’ll always keep a paper planner.
I hate talking about politics and rarely wear makeup, but I feel a need to wear jewelry that acts like an amulet.
It often takes me ages to reply to messages. Most of the time, I don’t answer right away because I’m waiting for the perfect moment to find the right, meaningful words. I make lists for everything, absolutely everything. I have a tendency to want to help, even when I haven’t been asked. I love proverbs and quotes. I would have loved to know how to sing, and so would the people around me!
I donate blood, plasma, and breast milk, and soon, my eggs, and I love the thought that my body is powerful. I dream of running a marathon. I’m usually very messy, right up until I realize my surroundings reflect my state of mind, at which point I start tidying up frantically.
I’m afraid of dying, just as I hate being the first to leave a party. I find it hard to let go.
For me, reading a menu starts with the desserts. When I was little, I hated admitting I was sulking, so I’d say I was thinking.
I don’t think I’ve ever been as happy as I am now.
